Sin embargo, este vórtice oscuro que me ampara, me augura el final más último de todos. Y después de eso ya no habrá nada... una gran e infinita nada. ¿Seré capaz de encontrar la salida hacia la luz?

I FIND MYSELF IN THE SHADOW. I AM SAFE THERE, THERE I FIND A REFUGE FOR THE CHALLENGES AND DEARTHS FROM OUTSIDE. HOWEVER, THIS DARK VORTEX THAT PROTECTS ME, PREDICTS MY VERY LAST END. AND AFTER THAT, THERE WILL BE NOTHING… A BIG AND ENDLESS NOTHING. WILL I BE ABLE TO FIND THE EXIT TOWARDS THE LIGHT?

Según el INE, en España durante el año 2017 se quitaron la vida 3.679 personas. Esta cifra duplica los muertos en accidente de tráfico, multiplica por 75 las víctimas de violencia de género, es 12 veces más que los homicidios y la principal causa de muerte en jóvenes de 15 a 29 años. Frente a estos datos, Dance Craft persigue poner de manifiesto un grave problema de salud social, mostrar una realidad latente todavía tabú, aportar una visión diferente de la realidad de la depresión y de la lucha por la estabilidad, y explorar un mundo interior infinitamente más intrincado, cruel y pegajoso del que encontramos fuera. Como siempre, en la línea de trabajo expresiva y amable de la compañía se pretende rendir un dulce homenaje a esas personas que no logran salir de la penumbra.

According to the Statistics National Institute, more than 3.679 people committed suicide in Spain during 2017. This amount doubles the deaths by traffic accidents, multiplies by 75 the victims of gender violence, it is 12 times more than homicides, and the main cause of death in young people between 15 and 29 years old. In the light of this information, Dance Craft pursues to expose a grave problem of social health, to show a suppressed reality that is still a tabu, to provide a different vision of the reality of depression and the battle for stability, and to explore an inner world which is infinitely more intricate, cruel and sticky than the one we find outside. As always, in the expressive and kind working line of the company, we hope to pay a sweet tribute to those people who don’t manage to get out of the shadow.
